This is my first time using a pen for micro needling. I’ve used a roller in the past and this is the next step up. It is easy to use with a simple set up and easy to understand instructions. I like that the needles come in various counts and are in individual sealed packages. This packaging protects the needles from bending or becoming contaminated.Snapping the needles on is simple and setting the preferred depth is straightforward. It helps to set up the pen first and then numb your face, wash it, and then give it a wipe of alcohol. Keeping the area clean and not touching your face is really important. If you must touch your face be sure to wipe your hand with an alcohol wipe first. Once ready, apply hyaluronic acid for slip and gently press the pen to your skin. You can choose a cross hatch or circular patterns. When you are completely done, just snap off the needle cartridge and dispose in a safe container. Do not reuse the needles. I found it helpful to view some YouTube videos about the M8. They gave me the confidence that I could do a spa treatment safely in my own home. There are many sellers on Amazon for this device, but I chose this company because of their 2 year warranty for the M*8.
