The interchangeable Pico Laser Handpiece Tip Probes are designed to provide different wavelength and treatment modes through one compatible pico laser handpiece. By changing the treatment tip, operators can select the appropriate wavelength according to the target pigment, tattoo color, treatment depth, and clinical application.

The available tip configuration can include 532 nm, 755 nm, 1064 nm, and 1320 nm, depending on the machine configuration.

532 nm Tip – Superficial Pigmentation & Colored Tattoos

The 532 nm wavelength is strongly absorbed by superficial melanin and selected tattoo pigments. It is primarily used for more superficial pigment targets.

Typical applications:

• Superficial pigmentation
• Freckles and sun spots
• Epidermal pigmented lesions
• Red, orange, and selected warm-colored tattoo pigments
• Superficial pigment correction

Because 532 nm has relatively superficial penetration and higher melanin absorption, treatment parameters should be selected carefully according to the patient’s skin type and pigmentation.

755 nm Tip – Alexandrite Wavelength

The 755 nm tip provides an Alexandrite wavelength option with strong melanin absorption and a different pigment absorption profile compared with 532 nm and 1064 nm.

The 1064 nm wavelength penetrates deeper into the skin and has lower melanin absorption than 532 nm, making it a commonly used wavelength for deeper pigment targets and dark tattoo ink.

1064 nm is one of the primary wavelengths used in professional Nd pico laser systems.

1320 nm Tip – Carbon Peel / Skin Rejuvenation Mode

The 1320 nm tip is commonly configured for carbon-assisted skin rejuvenation treatments.
